Flights to Panama from China will start during 2018
Flights to Panama from China, will begin to be a reality starting this year. This was announced by the president of the National Aviation Company of China, Cai JianJiang, during the visit of President Juan Carlos Varela to China. It is important to note that the air hub of Panama receives some 5,900 weekly flights and some 90 air connections are made to 34 countries in the Americas and Europe. Through large airlines such as Copa Airlines, Panama connects the region serving 75 destinations, in 31 countries in North, Central, South America and the Caribbean.
There is no doubt that direct flights to Panama from China will greatly benefit the Latin American region and, above all, the tourism of Panama, the real estate market and also the economic sector, among others. In addition, the commercial and tourist exchange that both nations propose to have will be tremendous.
The estimated date for the start of flights between Panama and China will be from March 2018. The airline responsible for these flights will be Air China, one of the largest in the Asian country. The flights between Panama and China will consist of two weekly flights from the city of Beijing, which will connect with Panama via Houston. It is no secret to anyone that Panama is the most visited country in Latin America.
